Meet Your Trainers

Our trainers are more than instructors – they’re shop leaders and industry veterans who’ve been where you are.

Lowell Greene brings over 30 years of real-world experience to Shop Fix Academy—from turning wrenches to running a shop, and now coaching others to do the same. A former shop owner, he understands the pressure and potential of this industry firsthand. Known for his practical, no-fluff approach, Lowell helps owners break past roadblocks with a mix of mindset coaching, accountability, and strategy. He’s passionate about helping shop owners grow – not just in business, but in life.

Eric Walker is a Master Automotive Technician with over 30 years of experience. A 1996 UTI graduate and BMW STEP Program alum, he spent much of his career as a BMW Master Tech. For 28 years, he’s held ASE Master Certification and has trained technicians for 8 years. He also owns Walker Automotive, a trusted repair shop he’s run for two decades.

Andy’s automotive journey began early, inspired by his grandfather’s passion for learning. After graduating from UTI in 2002, he built expertise in diagnostics, high-performance engines, and dealership repairs. In 2018, he began teaching, which led to founding his training company, FACTS. Today, he works as a full-time diagnostician and national trainer.

Kevin’s automotive journey began at 14, and he’s since worn just about every hat in the shop. What drives him most isn’t the cars—it’s the people. With a heart for mentorship and a gift for team-building, Kevin helps shops create cultures where both techs and advisors thrive. As a Shop Fix coach, he brings decades of hands-on experience and servant leadership to the table, guiding owners to become the leaders their teams deserve. For Kevin, real success means growing people, not just businesses.

David Finch has been in the automotive world for nearly 30 years, starting in his dad’s shop while earning his degree from Southeastern Louisiana University. What sets him apart is his ability to break down even the most complex systems into simple inputs and outcomes. Over the years, he’s built a thriving business focused on diagnostics, module programming, and light-duty diesel – serving fleets, fire districts, and farm trucks. For David, success comes from staying curious, keeping up with technology, and never stopping the learning process.
