RWMC Aaron Stokes: It's Time to Execute
Sometimes, it’s not a bad idea to sweat the small stuff. At the Ratchet+Wrench Management Conference, our founder Aaron Stokes delivered the closing keynote address, and he urged shop owners to pay attention to the small details that can make or break the customer experience.
“Big doors swing on itty bitty hinges. Don’t focus on the door; it’s the hinges. The little practices you do make you all the money,” said Stokes. “The money is in the basics. Do you call people back?”
Stokes also discussed how shop owners’ fear of failure can inhibit growth, and why it’s important to surround yourself with other people who dream big. And most importantly, you have to be willing to take the leap of faith and actually execute on your plans.
“Execution done the right way will create a level of wisdom and strategy you have not had in your life before, to deploy things you’ve never had in your life before,” said Stokes.
