Michael Rosenberger, affectionately known as "The Berg," has spent more than 25 years in the automotive industry...
He got his start as a technician in his father’s Midas shops and worked his way up through service writing and shop ownership. After purchasing Tommy’s Hi Tech Auto in Denton, TX, he scaled the business from $860K to $7.5M across two locations, including a European specialty shop in Plano. In 2019, Michael joined Shop Fix Academy as a coach while continuing to run his shops remotely. His practical leadership style, passion for problem-solving, and deep industry knowledge quickly earned him respect across the organization. In 2024, he stepped into the role of CEO, leading Shop Fix through rapid growth as it expanded to serve more than 1,100 shop owners nationwide.
Michael is proud of what he’s built, but his greatest joy comes from being a husband to Jessie and a dad to Wade, Ivy, Leo, and Owen. He loves playing pickleball, early morning routines, and family trips. He’s especially grateful that entrepreneurship has given him the one thing he values most—more time with his family. His mission is to help other shop owners do the same: grow strong businesses, lead with integrity, and create freedom through smart systems and solid leadership.

CEO - Shop Fix Academy
Juan brings grit, humility, and transformation to everything he does. After 15 years in the automotive industry as a technician...
Born in Colombia and raised in New York, Juan spent 15 years as a technician in both dealership and independent shops before hitting a wall. Tired of feeling stuck and unappreciated, he packed up and moved to Florida to start his own shop.
With no prior experience in ownership, he turned to coaching and grew his six-bay shop from $8K to $40K a month. The real breakthrough came in early 2018 when he joined Shop Fix Academy and fully implemented the systems and guidance.
Juan eventually scaled to over $200K per month and, more importantly, reclaimed his time, balance, and freedom. Now a Shop Fix coach, he helps other owners push past plateaus with a no-excuses mindset, sharp operational focus, and deep empathy for the journey.

Darren Adams
Shop owner and Shop Fix Academy Coach
Darren grew up turning wrenches on anything that burned fuel and made noise. After six years working his way up from apprentice...
to heavy line technician, he launched Dryfork Diesel & Auto in 2013 with nothing but a two-post lift, a laptop, and a cell phone in a barn beside Dryfork Creek, miles from the nearest town.
Today, Dryfork Diesel is a $4.5M+ shop located just outside a small town of 10,000 people, operating consistently in the $400K–$500K/month range. Built from the ground up without investors, Darren’s journey is a blueprint for growth through grit, faith, and relentless ownership.
He believes that taking full responsibility for your life gives you the power to change your circumstances, and he brings that mindset to every coaching call. Now, he helps other owners do the same — no excuses, just progress.
David Mora
Shop owner and Shop Fix Academy Coach
David Mora grew up in his dad’s auto repair shop, where he learned early on what it means to show up, do the work, and follow through on your word...
That environment shaped his work ethic and gave him a real-world understanding of how a business runs long before he ever owned one.
In 2025, with the support and guidance of Shop Fix Academy, David purchased the business from his dad and stepped into ownership. That transition wasn’t just about taking over a shop – it was about reinforcing and expanding the core values instilled in him while scaling and growing the operation.
Today, David focuses on building a culture-first business where accountability, consistency, and leadership drive results. He believes strong teams don’t happen by accident. They’re built through clear expectations, daily discipline, and leaders willing to go first.
He now uses that same approach to coach other shop owners, helping them simplify operations, understand their numbers, and build teams that can perform without constant oversight.
