Michael Rosenberger
CEO - Shop Fix Academy

Michael Rosenberger, affectionately known as "The Berg," has spent more than 25 years in the automotive industry...

He got his start as a technician in his father’s Midas shops and worked his way up through service writing and shop ownership. After purchasing Tommy’s Hi Tech Auto in Denton, TX, he scaled the business from $860K to $7.5M across two locations, including a European specialty shop in Plano. In 2019, Michael joined Shop Fix Academy as a coach while continuing to run his shops remotely. His practical leadership style, passion for problem-solving, and deep industry knowledge quickly earned him respect across the organization. In 2024, he stepped into the role of CEO, leading Shop Fix through rapid growth as it expanded to serve more than 1,100 shop owners nationwide.

Michael is proud of what he’s built, but his greatest joy comes from being a husband to Jessie and a dad to Wade, Ivy, Leo, and Owen. He loves playing pickleball, early morning routines, and family trips. He’s especially grateful that entrepreneurship has given him the one thing he values most—more time with his family. His mission is to help other shop owners do the same: grow strong businesses, lead with integrity, and create freedom through smart systems and solid leadership.

Ryan Hillenbrand

He owns four successful auto repair shops in the greater Cincinnati area and has led his company through a season of rapid expansion since 2017. Through the inevitable highs and lows of business ownership, Ryan has stayed focused on what he believes are the true drivers of long-term success: the three P’s — People, Product, and Profits — always in that order.

Ryan brings real-world experience and a no-fluff approach to coaching. He knows what it takes to scale a business while developing leaders, building strong teams, and protecting profit along the way. As a Shop Fix coach, he helps owners cut through the noise and focus on what actually moves the needle. With more stores on the horizon, Ryan continues to push for growth while staying rooted in his values and vision.
