2026 Spring PRO Conference Recap: Building Sales & Financial Control
This spring, Shop Fix Academy PRO Members came together in the Greater Nashville area for the second conference of the 2026 season. Each quarter carries a different focus, and Q2 is centered on Sales and Financials. The objective was clear from the start—bring precision to how shops sell, how they track performance, and how they control the numbers that determine profit.
A Conference Built on Structure and Execution
Spring PRO didn’t open with abstract ideas or broad strategy. It opened with a challenge: stop operating on assumptions and start operating with clarity.
From the first session, the tone was grounded in ownership. The conversations weren’t about what could work. They were about what is working, what isn’t, and what needs to change immediately. That shift was felt across the room.
The message was consistent. Growth isn’t about doing more. It’s about understanding what matters and executing it at a higher level.
A Structure Designed for Execution
The conference itself followed a deliberate rhythm. Main stage sessions set direction, breakouts translated ideas into process, and Tribe Time forced application.
It wasn’t passive learning. It was structured pressure.
Attendees moved between general sessions and focused breakouts, covering topics like customer-based sales, intake efficiency, and quality control, all anchored in real-world application. That structure mattered. It created space not just to learn, but to process, discuss, and commit to change.
That combination made all the difference for many of our PRO Members, noting that they felt re-energized to take action.
Q2: Sales & Financials in Practice
This quarter wasn’t about introducing new concepts. It was about refining the ones that already drive the business. Sales sessions broke down the full customer journey, from the first phone call to final delivery. Financial sessions pushed deeper into the numbers that determine whether that work actually produces profit.
For many attendees, it created a necessary reset in how they view their business.
“Don’t focus on revenue, focus on profit.”
That shift, from activity to outcome, became a defining takeaway.
From Numbers to Decisions
Inside their workbooks, attendees walked through tools designed to bring clarity to their business including:
Profit & Loss breakdowns
Backwards goal planning
KPI analysis
Cash flow allocation models
These weren’t theoretical exercises. They were frameworks for decision-making, exposing gaps they hadn’t fully addressed before.
The takeaway wasn’t just awareness. It was responsibility.
Sales as a System
Sales was approached the same way. Not as talent. Not as personality. But as a system.
Breakouts focused on the specific behaviors that drive results: how calls are handled, how inspections are communicated, how recommendations are presented, and how follow-up is executed .
When those systems are clear, sales becomes predictable. That clarity stood out to attendees. These weren’t surface-level insights. They pointed directly to necessary operational changes.
Where It Became Real: Tribe Time
The main stage created clarity; Tribe Time made it real.
This is where shop owners brought their numbers, their challenges, and their blind spots into the open. It’s where conversations got specific, and accountability took over.
Again and again, attendees pointed to this as the most impactful part of the experience:
“Tribe time is huge!”
Because this is where ideas turn into action.
All In
Across every session, every conversation, and every takeaway, one theme kept resurfacing:
All In. Not as a slogan, but as a requirement. “You’re either all in or not at all.”
It showed up in how attendees talked about their businesses, their leadership, and their next steps. This wasn’t about incremental improvement. It was about full commitment to the process.
Leaving With Clarity
By the end of the conference, the direction was clear. Not just what needs to be done—but how to do it.
Attendees left with:
Defined sales processes
Clearer financial visibility
Actionable next steps
A higher standard for execution
And maybe most importantly, the understanding that nothing changes unless they do.
Fix the Owner. Fix the Shop.
