Dave has been in the game for over three decades, and he's seen it all. He launched his business journey in 1987 with a towing company, and by 1992, took a risk on a failing five-bay shop with little more than grit and a willingness to learn. What he lacked in formal business training, he made up for with hustle and humility, plugging into a local mastermind group, soaking up knowledge, and applying it fast. By 2002, that small shop had transformed into a 15+ bay, 12,500 sq ft operation, generating over $3M in revenue and outperforming industry benchmarks.

His core strengths, marketing, financial insight, and a crystal-clear vision, became the engine behind the growth. Dave joined Shop Fix in 2018 with one goal: earn a spot in Command Core. He made it in under a year. That’s when the next chapter began, planning and executing a successful exit with Aaron’s guidance, which he completed in July 2021. Now, with his shop legacy intact, Dave coaches other owners through the same growth path he walked himself. He’s here to help others build smarter, faster, and with purpose, because he knows exactly what it takes to finish strong.
