Eric Rutherford

Eric Rutherford’s journey from dealership technician to multi-location owner is the definition of transformation. He started turning wrenches at 15 and went on to attend Wyoming Tech, eventually earning a coveted spot in the BMW STEP program.

By 2000, he launched his career at South Motors BMW in Miami, FL, where he spent a decade mastering the craft of high-end European repair. But Eric wasn’t done growing. He stepped out from under the hood and into leadership, moving from service advisor to assistant service manager, and eventually, in 2013, taking over as service manager at Audi. By 2015, Eric was ready for something more.

Tired of the corporate ceiling, he opened his own shop, and never looked back. Year one: $300K. Year two: $600K. Year three: $900K. In 2018, he joined Shop Fix and poured gas on the fire. Today, Eric owns 12 thriving locations across South Florida. He brings hard-won wisdom, real-world leadership, and serious momentum to every coaching conversation. Whether it’s scaling, staffing, or strategy, Eric knows exactly what it takes to break through every ceiling, and he’s here to help others do the same.
