Patrick Murray is one of three Lead Coaches at Shop Fix Academy, bringing nearly two decades of hands-on auto repair industry experience to the members he serves. As employee number one at his own shop, Patrick helped build the business from the ground up, giving him firsthand insight into what it truly takes to grow, scale, and sustain a successful operation.

Patrick has been involved with Shop Fix Academy for nine years — first as a member implementing the strategies inside his own business, then as a coach for five years, and now serving as a Lead Coach for the past two years. His journey from member to leadership gives him a unique perspective: he doesn’t just teach the process — he’s lived it.

Specializing in strategic growth through systematic optimization, Patrick works closely with shop owners to identify bottlenecks, increase profitability, and build businesses that operate with intention and clarity. He’s especially known for helping owners tackle the hard conversations they’ve been avoiding — whether with employees, partners, or even themselves — because he understands that real growth requires both operational excellence and personal leadership.
